We’re thrilled to announce that we raised over £500 for our studio charity, Framework, thanks to the ‘Big Day Out'!

The event, which was held virtually this year, invited its teams to a day of activities including virtual escape rooms, quizzes and online gaming sessions. The Big Day In culminated in a raffle with prizes including OLED Switch, Steam Deck and gaming vouchers, with all proceeds going to Framework.

The charity delivers housing, health, employment, support and care services to people across the East Midlands in Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire and in Sheffield, and we’re incredibly proud to support them!

Not only was the ‘Big Day In’ a great opportunity to raise money for our studio charities around the UK, it also means our teams who have started during work from home had the opportunity to meet those in other departments – some for the first time!

Gary Edwards, Studio Director at Sumo Nottingham, said: “The team at Sumo Nottingham are so proud to be supporting Framework as its studio charity for 2021 and we’re delighted to have been able to combine a fantastic day of activities for our staff with raising funds for this outstanding charity.”

Sumo’s teams were also sent a box of goodies through the post to enjoy throughout the day and were able to join in as many events as they were interested in.

Our Sheffield and Warrington studios also raised money for their charities, The Children's Hospital Charity and Autistica, at the event.
